I am well. Life is steady! So thankful to God! I'm starting school August 25th (Talbot Seminary), in order to be a full-time pastor or ministry. I am also working at Chinese church working part-time as 'Director of English Ministry'. I'm sorry I haven't updated. Also, I found more permanent living and I love where the area I live. The weather is very nice. It's been terribly busy, inconvenient, and not soo easy times but God is good and every hour is a gift from God. God is a God of grace and we humbly depend on Him and He will provide everything. Even though I don't know much far in my future, I trust God and put my hope in him alone. Pray for me that I stay strong in depending on God. So it's been quite a ride the last 4 months, but it is real joy and God is making me more of a godly man. I am going to buy a plane ticket to Taiwan for this January. I will take my mom with me. We will spend 2 1/2 weeks there, primarily to visit Melissa and her family. But, I will try to arrange time to visit my Taiwan church family.
Consider this as my update to the congregation. Please keep some of the main points in what I have wrote and put a little news about me there. Here they are below:
1. Starting seminary August 25th, at Talbot Seminary, to be a full-time pastor/ minister. Please pray for focus and discipline.
2. In July, I started working at Chinese church, as 'Director of English Ministry'. Pray God gives me wisdom and grows me as the leader and the ministry to grow spiritually and numerically.
3. I moved in with a Chinese family from my church. Pray for continued help to get along with them and adjust well.
4. There are two pastors at my church that I meet with once a week. They are very Godly and mature and good role models, especially as full-time ministers, husbands and fathers. Please pray they can be good mentors for me in these areas and God can shape me to be a Godly man.
